How do you find a town and stick with it?

I"m thinking of resetting. I only have 1 copy for myself, but my brother has a copy he doesn't use very often.

I was wondering how you guys make it so you don't reset your towns. Note, that I have no way of making money, and i have 1 cent. So I cant go buy a new copy.

I considered resetting for a while, but I realized that the "perfect map" for my standards may not even exist, so I would be resetting and resetting for months without finding anything and by the time I'm done, I might be burned out of the game. So I'm just going to stick with the town I got. I chose this map for a reason back then, and I trust my judgement. I would like another map, but life isn't perfect, so I'll keep it and try to make this town my dream town.

Why do you consider resetting? Is it the map? The native fruit? The villagers? The color of the train station? Honestly I think any map can become a beautiful town if you put effort and dedication into it.

I don't like the placement of my plaza, and I tted a lot so I feel like its messed up.
