I wanna know how you all feel about pokemon and gaming guilds in general. They battle, trade and help each other become great gamers at whatever game they play. They also compete against other guilds in a sort of team battle. Would you guys like a few here? because i feel it would be a great way to have some friendly competitions and regulate tourneys better

I found one on another site i wanna stick with, but i wanna see if it has more active members since only 6 or 7 are active daily.

I'd personally love to see a guild open up here. I'm not sure if it'd be against the rules, but I couldn't see it being that way.

There are multiple. Some are: Kaiaa, Thunder, Prof Gallows, Tina, ZR(has numbers that I can't remember), and I think that's it.

As for guilds, I think it sounds pretty neat, but the only problem I see is if there would be enough people to make it interesting. Plus, as seen in the tournaments held, some people sign up but don't bother to participate and be active.

I'd definitely be up for it, though!

thanks for the input dudes and dudettes. ill try to get a few started here(with mods permission, of course)

Don't actually know what this is about as I've never encountered one, its just a community gathering of sorts then?

sort of. within said guild, we battle eachother(and other guilds), play games(not just pokemon), and sort of just hang out.

Before Diamond and Pearl released, I remember being one of the first people to have their own league, but not before Smogon, mine released about a year after them but they're not considered a clan, just a community. It started on Serebii and eventually grew big enough to turn into our own forum and a lot of people created their own after being influenced by us. It was a blast. I was fortunate to start in the beginning of online competitive battling to have hundreds of supporters and leaders, but I was younger then and didn't have the time that I had now to keep it running for more than three years, so eventually, as all good things, it came to an end. It was a wild ride though. That was an experience that I'm always happy to remember. I wonder where all my "gym leaders" and "Elite 4" are doing today? x)

I recommend people trying it out sometime. You make friends and learn so much more about Pokemon, even when you thought you knew it all! It keeps you pretty excited for the series, especially when all of you are waiting and speculating about the new generation! It's great.

Hey! my guild is from serebii. we were... kicked from there though over a stupid technical phallacy, so we started our own!

EDIT: the mods approved! the guild thread is open!
