So I purchased a switch 2.. I moved my island over I want to move back to my switch 1 for a few reasons.

1. Switch 1 games don’t look as nice on switch 2
2. I heard rumors of Nintendo bqnning people for used games. I lost my botw (I had it since launch ) and I decided to buy a used copy on eBay to use the switch 2 upgrade and play my old save file as well as start a new. Now im hearing you can get banned for it and im scared.

3. My switch lite is more portable.

So ummm how do I transfer from switch 2 back to switch 1 ?

I think I’ll pack her back up and wait for the next ac game and stick with my original switch lite.

Nothing I ever had to done but I believe you can use the Island Transfer Tool to move island back to switch 1
details how on Nintendo site: https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Supp...le-Animal-Crossing-New-Horizons--1879835.html

about rumors of Nintendo banning people for used games, I haven't heard of but looking into it. It seems its really happened, but its bc the used copy of a game that was bought happen to of been dumped. and that dumped copy was run on another switch, so what causes the ban was the same game ID was detected by Nintendo on 2 different Switch's. knowing one is a dump copy of the other. legit copies of games should heave each their own ID it seems. but the person who got banned over buying a used game, seems they were able to contact Nintendo support and showed proof purchase of own a legit copy of the game and was unbanned.
unfortunately is troubling when buying used games, but if you already been playing it and nothings happened. you should be fine I'd think

Yeah I’m prob just going to delete the game and not play. It sucks because I bought botw shortly after the original switch launch but misplaced the copy and I decided to buy it for cheaper on eBay so I could make use of the switch 2 upgrade but I’m just gonna delete and resell the game and remove my data associated. One day I’ll have to buy it full price again 🙄 digitally.

But I won’t be buying any used games anymore (a really really crappy thing Nintendo is doing and it’s A shame these pirates are ruining it for normal people ).

And ok I wasn’t sure if you could use the same method because switch 2 didn’t use the island transfer so just seems weird.

I just feel safer back on the od switch I’m highly disappointed with the switch 2 so far I hate to say it.

I hadn’t heard about the ban because of used games. I’ve been mostly buying digital games and the only game I want to buy used is Super Mario 3D All Stars as that can’t be found in the eShop anymore. I had a copy but sold it to pay for TotK.

I only bought this game used because I paid full price brand new when the switch came out but lost the copy and really was annoyed I had to buy it again and wasn’t about to pay full price for something I already bought to play my stored save file so I got it used a little cheaper. But for it at this point I’m just not gonna play the game and am deleting any files associated this is so stupid

I also had Mario all stars and sold it for 300 dollars on eBay once Mario 64 came to nso (I only got it for that )
