How do I make villagers wear clothes I want them to wear

Send shirts to them in the mail and there is a chance they may wear them.

I tried to do this with custom designs - I was trying to make Mira wear it but she just wouldn't budge everyone else wore it BUT her xD

I'm pretty sure you can't force the villagers to wear anything. I usually put my designs in the Able Sisters' shop and hope they catch on. Usually, when I mail a tee to someone they either end up using it as a decoration or regifting it to someone else.

The first mailed tee usually end up using as a decoration. Try sending them the same tee again, they will wear it

It can take awhile sometimes before they wear it unfortunately.

I put 10 designs in able, which are different colors of the same stripe tank (green, blue, pink, red etc)

All of my villagers wore it in autum, but as winter approached some decided to wear a puff jacket. Still, 7 of my villagers wear the tank
