How do I make the siggy with animals I have and want?

I seen amazing signatures with animals people have, animals they want, and the animals they would like to get rid of. So how can I make one too? (>w<); In some there's little pixils of the characters on the sig. It's very cute.

And can anyone help me make one? :3 Thanks

Click my banner in the spoiler tab of my signature. It will lead to all the sprites. Then you use Photoshop and photo and shop your heart out Also, spread the link to everyone out there! I see a lot of people ask how to have the sprites and it's getting a bit ridiculous.
You can also find talented artists here to make you one.

If someone were to make a thread linking to the sprites and how to make a banner, I think it would stop all this spam and everyone can be happy! ​

This is where most people get the sprites (the little pixelated characters) from. Hopefully there's a translate option if you're not using Google Chrome lol!!

I used Microsoft paint for mine but it's SO ANNOYING. I'd recommend downloading paint.net
I had to draw in the black borders on my villagers pixel by pixel .. never again ..

You can use any program, of course! As long as it allows PNG and GIF. NEVER use JPG if you decide to use pixel sprites. The compression makes it look like barf was rinsed on it...

Ehhh if you want to make a signature, you're probably better off using GIMP. It's completely free, and functions very similar to Photoshop.

I would not recommend SAI for siggy making, since it's not a very intuitive program for newbies. It's more of an art program to digitally paint it with a tablet (I use it to draw my stuff).

It can be but I prefer the exposure and layer settings in sai for softer looks. It's all dependent on your methods. I use photoshop myself most of the time. Could never get gimp to work properly.

That only applies to it if the compression is optimized for web. JPG is not bad at all. I use it for all my stuff. It's a shame the web doesn't support .TGA files. I'd kill to use targas instead.

If you can't get a hold of photoshop, I believe Gimp is a nice free alternate.

I personally use Photoshop for my siggy and in general, if it's not drawing related. Like others have said, you can use Paint if it's pretty basic. Anything more elaborate, you need to use an art program. I've never used GIMP since I've always had access to Photoshop, but I've heard it's a good free option.

I wouldn't recommend PaintTool SAI for siggy making. It's great for painting and things that require pressure sensitivity, but it lacks a lot of the options that Photoshop has. Otherwise, you can commission someone to make it. There's several shops in the marketplace who take commissions for siggy banners.
