How do I get rid of this guy?

A new just villager moved in today, and he's from some town I've never even been to. Also, his old town has an inappropriate name, which makes me anxious because I have friends that often visit me.
Please, is there a quick way to get rid of him?

I think you can go to Isabelle and report him for "bad behavior" or something like that and it'll reset him to how he originally was. I'm not sure if this erases what town he's from, but it will get rid of any inappropriate things he says.

Introduce yourself to him, and then never talk to him again. He should leave within a week or so. Also, do what Cucco said and report him to Isabelle for "bad language" or something along those lines, and it will reset everything about him depending on what you choose. Not sure if it resets where he was from, though.

No it will never reset where he from. So the best way is still let him leave. I have alot of villagers from adoption and even I reset their language and so, they still occasionally mentioned their former town tune~

You've been going on every single thread where I've said this and posted this message...

I'm just going from my experience. From my experience, ignoring them after introducing yourself is the quickest way. After doing an experiment, I came to the conclusion that ignoring them takes 1 week for them to move out, and befriending them takes 3 weeks to a month for them to move out.

It may be different for some people.

i was just looking through threads and saw this again.

I personally use the introduce yourself then ignore method, it works great for me. It's a lot quicker than getting close to them for me as well.

Timeskipping may help make the process faster. Just make sure no one you care about moves in the process.
