How do I close a post?

I found the box that says close post but nothing happens when I click it.

There are two places you can close it:

If you don't see either of these, you can report your own thread and ask the staff to close it for you

it actually doesn't give me that button next to thread tools and idk why so I guess I have to use the other method

Only in certain boards can you close your own thread - mostly just the trading ones, I think.

if you can't close it yourself maybe make a contact the staff thread and ask a staff member to close it
