I tend to worry about things even though there's not much of a reason to. :/
For example, I'm stressing out because I think there could be something wrong with my GCSE qualifications and that I could end up in a bad set, even though I got the results and they're good (and I have about 2 years to improve my current grades and get more qualifications). I know my worries are silly, but I just can't get them out of my head. :(

i have some pretty serious paranoia too, but just ... be cool... let go...
you just gotta let go of your cares
keep a little paranoia though

I have a SERIOUS anxiety problem. Do you have iTunes? I despise Apple, but I have an iPad anyway because it was given to me and I am making the most of it because my laptop quit on me and I need it for school.

I downloaded a bunch of guided meditations on iTunes. I listen to them all the time. Some before bed (right before I go to sleep). Some when I wake up. Some while I do dishes. Some when I want to reflect on a candle or a rock for a mindfulness excersize to get my mind off things for a while. It really helps. There are apps too for meditation. I also do Yoga. Deep breathing and Progressive Muscle Relaxation is very helpful.

The only way I can calm down my anxiety is by really distracting myself. Try doing something that requires a lot of your attention, maybe like reading, writing, drawing, whatever you're into that you can focus on. Listening to music is also a great way to help tune everything out, and you can listen while you're invested in other things. I hope you find something that helps!

Think half glass full instead of half glass empty. A walk in a park helps too.

Coming from someone who has really bad anxiety, I try to keep my mind off of it. I'm not quite sure if you have it aswell, but I'm sure it will help you too. Try doing something you love, listen to music, play a game, etc. :)

I have quite a serious problem too, sometimes I worry about things and come up with hypothetical situations as a defense mechanism but after a while I realised, this isn't what's actually happening and some events are out of my control. All you can rely on is your confidence that you've done well, you don't need to worry about things too much = ) it's scary to think what might happen but in the end, is there any reason for worrying in things you can't control? You've done your best AND had great results ^_^ You wouldn't of done well if you didn't have the ability to do so, think about it. Only you allowed yourself to achieve so well, so you should believe in your abilities = 3

I have an anxiety disorder that kinda rules my life sometimes, I find it hard to leave the house or talk to people because my brain is just constantly coming up with new things to worry and stress about. It's been years but it's getting so, so much better and honestly it's because I got help. Things like anxiety are illnesses and should be treated as such, you don't have to feel so bad! I would say go to the doctor and see what they say, maybe medication would help, maybe you need CBT or counselling. If you value your mental health then give it the importance it needs, prioritize yourself and your well-being and do what you think you need! Take time off, take up a hobby, start a journal, do whatever you think would help! But definitely, talk to a professional, I promise it will help :) x

Goodness gracious, I can relate to you on so many levels.

Another big "thank you" to all the posters here. It has got me thinking about ways to combat my worries. ^^

I don't think my problem is as big as yours, though. Should I still try and get help?

Just distract yourself and stay busy. I'm really anxious right now, and I have no idea why, but I'm gonna go watch some Doctor Who to keep myself from worrying.
