How can I get a Buneary?

I got Pokemon X yesterday, and the only two pokemon I've ever really been fully familiar with are Pikachu and Buneary. I'm being serious.
This is my first game in the series so don't judge me ;u;

And I vowed, ever since I discovered Buneary, that I would buy a pokemon game and get her.

However I don't know how, and google has lead me to things I have no idea about. Can someone help me out please ? >.<'

You can only get it by trade, this Pok?mon cannot be captured on XY, i will check if i have one extra that i can give you

It's a little like that. You may have noticed the bottom screen. That's known as the PSS, which is your general trading hub. Anyone who can connect to you can offer to do something with you.

If you want a Buneary, though, I can get one for you. I have one in my box with no real purpose.
