ACNL has me up on Fridays and Saturdays catching beetles at around 10 PM. But, I got to sleep on Fridays at around 1 AM because I can't sleep so I play more animal crossing. And on Saturday, it's anime night on adult swim. So, i'm up until 2:30 AM playing animal crossing and watching anime. And I wake up at around 10 AM. The only good thing about the time I wake up, all the shops are open.

I TT and get up at 6:30-7 every morning, so I have no problem at all going to bed at maybe 10 pm.

I don't lose sleep over AC:NL. I just wake up and go to sleep as I normally do. Hop on AC:NL and do my regular routine.

I don't lose sleep over ACNL either. If I'm not sleeping for some reason (can't sleep, I'm doing something else at the same time, I'm working and taking breaks every once in a while) I'll play, but if I want to sleep I'll sleep. If for some reason my sleeping schedule means that stuff isn't open or that I can't enjoy the game as much as I'd want to, I just adjust the clock, same as I do with my daily schedule (on days when I'd only be playing after everything's closed and most villagers are asleep, I just set the clock back).

I don't lose sleep over ac, however if I can't sleep it's a great thing to pass the time till I can :)

As with everyone else here, I don't lose sleep over New Leaf. If I'm tired, it's usually really late at night and everyone's asleep anyway.

I lost a whole 11 hours of sleep trying to get Marshal out of my Cycle Town, dammit. I will type every single word I know to express my anger towards ACNL and the many hours it has costed me. I could've been sleeping or going on Tumblr, ffs.

I never lose sleep over AC:NL. I TT when I need to be in the game at a certain time. XD Makes my life a lot easier.

I just TT instead of staying up late for beetle catching. I have sometimes found myself staying up longer than intended, but it definitely hasn't affected my sleep cycle. Reading screenshot LPs on my iPhone, on the other hand...lol

Just one of those reasons why I choose to casually time travel.

I didn't think I was going to revert to TTing when I first got New Leaf, but honestly, the game can be pretty demanding if you can't/don't feel like dedicating an hour+ a day to maintaining your town/beetles/etc.

For a game I bought specifically to have a relaxing and a fun time, time travel can come in handy a lot with balancing real life with your Animal Crossing one. I can't always stay up all night taking advantage of the beetle-catching time window.

In my view, no point making things harder for yourself. :lemon:

I have insomnia so while I don't actively lose sleep over AC, I spend time I could be trying (and failing) to sleep on it lol I only TT'd once but if I miss a day where I can't dig fossils or shake trees, I don't worry about it.

I don't lose sleep to New Leaf, either. I've been going to sleep late at night (usually 10 PM-12 AM) so Animal Crossing has been filling in the nighttime gaps. And on weekends, when I wake up in the middle of the night, usually AC calms me down.

since it's summer holidays ACNL has become my ruler

I think last night I played it for 19 hours?? ;u;

ACNL kinda bookends my day too. I wake up at 6am like clockwork and immediately grab the 3DS to go down to the beach and check if I've got new hybrids. Then I have to wait until 11am before my last villager gets her butt out of bed and it's worth firing up the game again to do the talky-talky town tour (stupid uchis).

I wish I could have night owl back on though to have the shops open later. I used to like doing late night beetle runs before going to sleep. But I started losing too many hybrids due to overlooking them on the daily water run, so beautiful town it is and forever shall be...

I'm one of those nuts who does loose sleep over ACNL. :P My sleeping schedule is crappy as it is, but when I campsite reset, I can stay up for hours, even around two or three AM, which is usually my breaking point when I'm just on my computer.
