House Themes

I kinda have an idea for the theme of two rooms in my house. The basement is going to be a study themed room based off of this room that I found on Tumblr and the left room of my house will become a cafe themed room based off of this photo which I found in a design a room contest. I have an idea of what I want 2 of the rooms to be but I don't know how I want the furniture to be arranged or what extra pieces to add or take out or whatever. I want the first floor room to be a living room with either the gorgeous set or rococo set (recolored). I want the second floor to be a bedroom with the princess set. I don't know what the other 2 rooms should be. For motivation, how about I give 10BTB for each person who posts a picture of a room that I like the most for the last 4 rooms of my house. If that makes this a contest, then mods feel free to move this thread.

Personally I really like rooms that are themed like gardens, though I'm unsure what set of furniture you'd be able to get for it. A lot of these use exotic furniture by the looks of it. Some are like proper gardens, others are like patio areas or greenhouses, but I thought I'd file them all under the same thing:

I hate the idea of the first room in a house having a bed in it, like how awkward is that ?? It's the house entrance and someone sleeps there ????? So my first floor room is a museum, big completed skeleton fossil in the middle surrounded by items Gulliver has sent me, first floor left is princess set, first floor right is mermaid set, upstairs is the pink (gothic white) rococo set and downstairs is currently red and black Astro set but will be the card set from Gracie once I've got all the pieces.

I don't have a back room yet as I build as I design, but it's going to house the gorgeous set from Gracies

I totally agree with the whole bed in the first room. >o< Unless you live in a studio flat or sofa bed, that's generally not how it is in real life, and when I see a bed in the first room it's feels sort of... inappropriate?
And I really like the idea of a museum in the first room. ;u; I suppose you could put all your achievement items there too, like trophies, HHA rewards, etc. so as soon as someone walks in, they know how much time and effort you've dedicated to your town. I might borrow that idea later, if you don't mind. >w> Since I just restarted my town, I don't really have enough furniture to properly design a room, so mine's just a mess of things I may want to use at the moment.

My main house is a hotel, so the first room is the reception area, then there are 2 rooms that are themed hotel rooms, one is a cowboy/western room, the other is girly. The basement is a coffee shop, the upstairs is a sushi restaurant and the last room is a weight/ laundry room for the guest to use. My other characters house is a creepy hospital. It looks fine when you first enter but then with each room you start to notice something isn't exactly right. lol

Aww, the hotel sounds so cool! ;u; I love how you've thought about the things people would actually need during their stay too, like the restaurant, gym and laundry room. The creepy hospital sounds really cool too! I totally dig anything creepy in Animal Crossing because it feels so out of place, it's really jarring and that makes it even more creepy, in my opinion! >w<

I like the idea of a white and elegant living room with a piano and some little foods to eat while listening to music so I tried to incorporate that idea for my own living room.
The last final room in my house is both an art studio/dressing room. My character loves to paint so I tried to make a mini art studio in one half of the room while staring outside. She also loves fashion and likes to display her clothing so she can choose any future outfits. Like the living room, I tried to incorporate that idea into the room. Hope you take inspiration from them ~
