Ok, so I am super plan crazy when it comes to designing houses, I literally draw out my blueprints before hand and everything.
So I am working on planning my new Mayor's house and I thought I had a good idea of what to do for each room... but I decided I no longer want to do a "toy" room in my house, I've done it before so I don't want to just do another one of them... but now I need to figure out what to do with my basement!

So far my planned rooms I have:

First room:
Living room
Back Room: Kitchen/Cafe
Left Room:Bathroom/Sea themed lounge
Right Room: Mayor's Office/Guest room
Top floor: Mayor's bedroom

Now I just need help on what to do with the basement...

My whole house is pastel/fairytale themed so I don't really know what to put down there, I don't want to do a toy room anymore because I didn't want my mayor to be a "kid" anymore, but now I know NO IDEA!

You could have like a lounge or an extra bedroom, maybe a hobby room like if you're into painting you could have some painting stuff

The hobby room is a cute idea... but I don't know what Bray's hobby would be... hmm, maybe sewing and designing clothes? I'll see how much space I can use that for. Cause I already have a lounge and a guest bedroom

I like the idea of a hobby space, that sounds charming. In my old town I managed to pull off a kind of pastel library by using the rococo furniture and customising it white. It still had a fair bit of brown in it though.

If you wanted to go with something like a toy room but not really, maybe a nursery? The pastel shades work really well; you could probably do the furniture mostly white, maybe the bear series and some of the street pass balloons or something?

Oh, yes! If you did that, there's the sewing machine, sewing kit, yarn basket, clothing displayed (not the mannequins, just displayed on the default wooden stands), clothing and/or qr clothing hung on the walls, stack of clothes (can be customized), the cork board used as an inspiration board, etc. Maybe even the changing room item so Bray can try on her new creations?
