Hopper is moving out of my town. I got him through a careless tumblr user's void after a trade, so he's not original (although his house appears to be mostly intact, as his his catchphrase). He's free to whoever wants him! Looking to get him out sooner rather than later.

Really? Awesome! All I ask is that you make sure your void is clear before you come get him. I'd hate to have another voided villager move in right after I got rid of one.

Oh, no problem! If a villager moves out and no one takes them, they go into your void. If you visit someone's town and they have a spot open, one of the villagers in your void will move into that person's town. Because a person who had visited me when Katt was in boxes had Hopper in their void, Hopper moved in the day after Katt left.
But clearing your void is very simple! All you have to do is visit someone's town who has all 10 spots filled. So if you want, you can visit my town before Hopper is in boxes to clear your void. But if you've already visited someone else's town since your last villager moved out, it's no problem!

I just visited 2 people. I have someone about to move out (they will be gone when I change to the next day) but I will wait for that until after. I don't know if my friends had 10 villagers, I didn't count D': I can visit just to be safe? I haven't played my game in a while so nobody has moved out recently. I think Gladys was the last one to move out months ago x'D

Actually, if your villager is in boxes, how about we play it safe and you visit on the current day, then I'll change times to the day the villager is supposed to move out and you can come back and talk to him then? I think if the villager's in boxes they're still looking for a place to move... I think, I've never encountered that situation before

And I'm very sorry!! Since he's not too popular, I didn't expect to have competition for him, and I certainly didn't expect both people would be on at the same time. I'm used to saying whoever gets there first gets him because the difference is usually several hours between contact. But excuses aside, I'm truly embarrassed of and sorry for how poorly I handled this, and it's my fault entirely. If you'd like bells, either TBT or in-game bells, to make up for this, please let me know.
