Since our phones still have app space how neat would it be if through nook miles or something else we could get an app similar to the construction app.

when activated if you talked to a villager they would ask if you wanted to help them redesign their house. when you chose yes if they were a high enough friendship level with you, they would then bring you to their house, if too low they could say sorry they preferred it how it was currently. could also be used as a friendship gauge too then.

when u are transported to the house you could then go into the decoration mode like in your house. you would have access to yours and their storage and could use any of it to decorate the room. maybe even have it if you hang that outfit you hate them to wear on the wall they will stop wearing it.

then when u finish if it actually fits their tastes they give u a thank you gift, otherwise they just thank you and u have designed their house.

Anyone else had ideas like this?

I really like that idea. I haven’t thought too much in depth as you had but I’ve had some ideas/wishes or seen some suggestions in other threads that I’d like.

I was a huge fan of HHD, but thought the requests were boring or too easy (at the same time, I loved the freedom to make what I want). Some ideas I have: at a certain friendship level, the villagers give you a list of furniture they want (or color at least) and money for it (and there being no way you can spend it on stuff for yourself) and gives you a theme they’d want you to decorate their house too ( a theme that would go with their personality, hobby, or design). I mean, I’d totally love complete freedom to design their house the way I want it to look, but since this is NH and not HHD, I can’t expect as much designing freedom as in that game.

I like your idea of being able to access your and their storage when designing. Maybe add the ability to sell and purchase things when in thr mode without the 5 item per day restriction or needing to use the nook shopping app (so a built in catalogue like harv’s studio has but with bell costs; and have a certain amount of bells that the villager gives you to spend only on their room and the option to use your own bells even ones in your savings).

I would like to be able to do this. Sometime I really like the character but don’t really like their houses. I would love to be able to redesign the inside of their houses, even the outside maybe. Right now I have Nan. I had previously gifted her an outfit that she never uses, and it’s stuck permanently stuck inside her house. I wish I could go in an remove it.
