HMV Preorder Predicament

I saw the news about GAME and Gamestation not stocking Mario Party 9.
Seeing that news, I decided that I would preorder the game at HMV.

The Staff Member who servered me scanned my HMV Reward Card for my preorder of Mario Party 9, yet he didn't give me a preorder reciept as since I am so used to GAME and Gamestation giving a preorder reciept and so I am really concerned on how I am going to pick up Mario Party 9 tomorrow.

Most likely, they'll just scan your card. You don't always need a receipt if you can prove your identity or prove it was you that ordered it. i.e. Showing your ID or your member card.

I have a student card, citizen card and my HMV Reward Card, will that be more than enough proof?

Should be.
Usually they just hand the game to me without a receipt as long as I can say my name and number or address.

I now know what to expect when I go to pick it up tomorrow.

Just one more thing, I am right in saying that even though I ordered it a little bit late as it was about 4.10pm today, they will still have it in for me tomorrow?

They'll most likely have enough copies there so you should be fine.

I wonder if GAME will ever pick up again as someone told me that I should think about using my GAME Reward Points, but in all honesty, I don't really want to use my GAME Reward Points on random video games that I am probably not even interested in or will play...

Then why don't you just wait for a game you want? Just because they're deciding not to stock a few games doesn't mean they'll go out of business. Not yet at least.

I hope not as I have quite a lot of interesting chats with the Staff at my local GAME and Gamestation stores.

A lot of stores reserve copies of games, specifically pre-orders, so if they run out of non-pre-ordered games, you'll still be able to get your's since you reserved it. But Jason should be fine, I don't think MP9 will go out of stock if he has any problems with the preorder.
