Hit someone with a snowball?

Hi! I was so mad I blew my opportunity lol it's snowing in my town (I'm catching back up to real time after taking a break) and Rory was RIGHT by the cliff on the beach and there was a small snowball I could start rolling, I tried to time it right but I realized I have to trap them cause I missed. I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten a villager with this before? Rolling a snowball off the cliff and onto a villager? What happens??!
