Hipster Appreciation Petition?

My villager, Lionel, recently approached me with a petition for the "Appreciation of Hipsters." I didn't have him pegged as a hipster but sure why not? Anyway, is there anyone who has done this yet?

Yeah, villagers sometimes request petitions for random things. Usually you'll have to get the signatures from other towns to finish the petition. It's nothing special, just another task for you like when a villager asks you to deliver something to another villager.

I received a "Unruly Hair Must End" petition or something like that from Quillson, who has... perfectly coiffed hair for a duck. I went to my bf's town. Most of who signed the petition didn't have hair at all.
