Hello everyone :3
Prepare yourselves for the wall of text that is my introduction.
I'm more of a lurker than a poster on forums, but you might see me posting every now and then regardless, mostly on the Animal Crossing 3DS board
I've been playing Animal Crossing since the Game Cube version came out. Although I've put it down for quite some time, I still love to get on and play every now and then. Recently I deleted my long-time town of Kiro on AC:CF in favor of making a new one called Rainwood and getting the enjoyment of starting anew.
If I manage to acquire a 3DS by the time Jump Out comes out, then I'll be getting it for sure. The features in it are features that I've been wanting since the first time I played; I'm especially looking forward to swimming, customizing my house, and being able to wear PANTS! (as well as skirts and socks~). I think I'll also really enjoy the wifi features, as I've never been able to enjoy those in Wild World or City Folk since I don't have any friends to play around with, and I don't trust people on the internet who I barely know to be kind to my town (sorry guys
).
Outside of Animal Crossing, I mostly play Guild Wars 2 and Minecraft, but when I'm in the mood for them, I also play games like Legend of Zelda, Okami, Pokemon, and certain Harvest Moon games. I don't have the money to buy a good computer or new consoles for gaming, but if I could, then I would definitely try out many other games like Portal or Skyrim.
I'm also very much into anime and manga and cartoons in general, but I haven't really watched/read any in quite some time.
I'm currently 20, turning 21 in November, and I'm a junior in college going towards a degree in Historic Preservation. I started late in the program because I went into college having no idea what I wanted to do, and I'm still very unsure about majoring in Historic Preservation, but my current plan is to get the degree, do some research about other degrees that I might want to pursue, and go back to school. This is assuming that I hate where this degree takes me, but it's hard to say where I'm going to go with it at the moment. I might enjoy it in the end, which is what I'm hoping for.
In real life, and even online, I'm very shy and quiet and I don't usually talk much or have much to say. This introduction is probably the most you'll ever see from me, haha.
I guess that's about it
Thanks for having such an awesome forum for me to lurk on~
