Hide and Seek with scorpions

I was playing a game of hide and seek again. Almost got stung by a scorpion. What happens if a game is interrupted by a sting like that?

i assume you wake up in front of your house with the timer still running But yes, I would also like to test that theory.

Not sure about the scorpion but I do know what will happen if it's a Bee.
Found the last villager behind a tree and a beehive dropped when I shook it.
Game sent me to the plaza and the villager gave me a gift. After that was done the bees showed up and stung me.
The tree was across town.
