Hiya, my name is Amanda, I live in Melbourne, Australia, I'm an early childhood educator (usually working with 2-5 age ranges), and I really *really* love animal crossing!
I've been playing animal crossing games for about 10 years, since I got my first DS bundled with acww. Best random visit to a game store I ever made, though was one heck of an impulse buy!
I now have 2 copies of acnl, one one my ac 3ds, and one cartridge in my 2ds. I play both games simultaneously, though keep them to different times of the year. Obviously this means I can access another town whenever I please, and share items and bells around - very handy as I'm now the only one left playing acnl in my circle.
While I had to stop playing for awhile due to other commitments, I'm now back to playing more than I ever did .. I'm functionally bed-bound for the next few months for medical reasons. One surgery down, (hopefully only) one more to go. In the meantime, acnl is a wonderful way to pass my time lol!
Today I just now discovered snow balls can make different sized snow people, having only ever made the largest size before I read a faq post here - I love how there's always more to learn and discover about these games!
Reading the posts around TBT has already been a lot of fun (and so rewarding! I now have an entire set of pseudo Elsa furniture!!). I look forward to spending more time here. No idea why I'd never come across this place before in my many googlings (SO many things to look up and suss out in these games, it just never ends), but I'm sure glad I have now.
Thanks
Amanda
