So I need help because I'm dumb and don't understand things.

I am doing the fairy tale theme challenge. Good stuff. I had built and expanded my basement last, so when I got the challenge, a lot of the other rooms were already done and I had a bit over 1 million points. Nice.

Then I added more stuff and my points fell to around 950k. Today, I added the ice set (completely) that I had finally gotten and my points dropped to 830k and I get told not all my rooms are fairy tale anymore. I am confused.

So can someone tell me what's wrong? To explain in more detail:
- My exterior is completely fairy tale.
- My second floor has the princess set (complete) with a white piano, a blue vase and some potted Ivy, another white plant and a music box.
- My right room had originally the weeding day set, when I had a bit over a million points. Since that set isn't all that big, I moved it to the main room (where I was keeping only house plants until then) and instead did the complete roccoco set in the right room.
- The back room has a combination of the mermaid and the regal set; the regal set refurbished to pink. Neither set is complete yet, but it's already crowded enough in there, lol. However, there is nothing facing the wall or inaccessible.
- The left room originally only had an incomplete Harvest set (missing three pieces) when I was at 950k. I now put the weeding day set - which has no wallpaper and floor, after all - in there as well when I got the ice set.
- The main room, formerly filled with plants and weeding day set, now has the complete ice set.

What is going on?
Not sure if it matters, but I have "normal" plants and bonsai all around my house, as well as some stained glass lamps and other items not belonging to the sets, as well as one mannequin holding my santa outfit right now (it's not Toy Day in my town yet). Also, I often have extra furnitures of the set (as in, two mermaid tables and so on).

I absolutely do not understand why my score goes down when I add a complete set that was not there before. Can someone help me?

I got all the rewards with just two rooms kitted out. I believe any item that isn't fairytale will lower the score and if you have more than a certain number the room simply doesn't count at all. Plants were my main offenders when I was doing it. Try taking absolutely everything out of the room then put stuff back in systematically, making sure every single item is fairytale themed, see if that works.

Ack, okay. My poor plants. ;_; Is it important if the room is properly lit or not? I'm lacking lamps if I take all non-fairy tale things out. I thought other items just wouldn't count, not kill the rating. X_X Ugh.

Harvest and lovely set are both fairytale, and reorderable. If you've got them catalogued just order a few extra harvest or lovely lamps - I'm sure you can mix and match sets without a penalty.

My theme was Quirky and I mainly did it with spooky and creepy - I forget how I lit the creepy room now, I think with candles, but because the creepy stuff isn't a full series I had a bunch of mad scientist items in there to give necessities like bed and chair, it still worked fine.

EDIT: I also had a pile of random quirky-themed trash in there like moai heads and drip pails. It looked ridiculous, but Lyle doesn't care about ridiculous as long as there's a set of basic necessities and no items with a wrong theme.

Yeah, see, I'm lacking the lamps of the harvest set and don't have a single piece of the lovely set. I suppose I could toss a roccoco lamp in, though; I can order those, after all.
Currently removing all my plants uggggh I need storage room. Hopefully, things will look up tomorrow.

Anyone knowing if there's a way to get the current score? I think Lyle only gives out the one from 6am, right?
