Good morning/afternoon/evening to you all!
I suppose I should say that my first experience with Animal Crossing was with Wild World, and the concept of naming your town went entirely over my head; when the prompt to name your town came up, I entered "town". I guess I found the concept of a relaxing leisure game was really neat, and since then I've been playing Animal Crossing, moving on to City Folk, and now to New Leaf.
I'm not exactly an avid player, as I have put my towns on numerous month-long hiatuses at some points. I also don't time travel, because it's too much of a hassle for me.

I agree time travelling is really a burden (but i cant help myself sometimes)
