Here's a little trick for gracie

I know how much of a pain it can be to get her to show up. This trick does involve time-traveling. So here's whatcha do. When she shows up get your first evaluation done and save. Time-travel back to 5:58am, let it load a new day at 6am. Once the new day is loaded, save and quit. Start up your file but change the time a couple hours ahead say noon. Do Gracies thing again.
Rinse, repeat, boom.

I'm pretty sure she only shows up once you have the second biggest t&t store.

I did try to do the same with Katrina but it didn't work so I chose to make more residents

Oh wait, so if each character goes in, it counts towards her putting up a shop?

As long as they are residents in your town, it counts. Just make sure your mayor goes last because of its on alt character for your 20th, she won't suggest the shop.

I've done that trick for my extra towns. I had all the clothing ready so I just did the 559am, waited for a new day to start and than ran up to the event plaza. Gracie is there at 6am. For those that have villagers that they want to keep make sure to time travel ahead and talk to them. In my extra towns I wasn't worried about losing a villager.

Sunday is when the visitors get set for the week. For Monday I do the jump ahead one day and than go back a day.

I used this trick when I was time traveling and it's pretty great, especially if you don't want to wait for Gracie. Just need to be careful about your villagers. Those villagers are always wanting to move.
