i need to post this file:///Volumes/NO%20NAME/DCIM/100NIN01/RUU_0042.JPG in a pm and send it to SAMwich, but i can't figure out how! will someone pm me the image?

You need to upload the image to an image or file host, first, before you can link to it. The file:// protocol only refers to a file on your own computer.

PhotoBucket and ImageShack are two of the more popular image hosts. PhotoBucket requires you to register, and ImageShack does not. =)

After uploading your image to a host, you are usually provided with a link to copy so you can post it where you need to.
