As you can see, this is Wendy's original house. I'm trying to restore it to full originality, but she got rid of one of her cupid benches.
I keep trying to give it back to her, but she keeps declining them because she already has one.
Should I replace the space with something else fitting with her theme? I just don't get it!

I've done it, and she just replies back with "I already had that item, but thank you!" and never places it in her house. It's really annoying!

Go to her birthday if you can. They almost always display the stuff I give to them for that.

That could work too! But I think I'll just not be picky and give her something else that suits her house. Thank you, though!

Have you tried putting it in retail and pushing her around the store until she pings for that item? That's how I force my villagers to put something in their house if sending it in a letter doesn't work :3

It's weird that she com[plains about getting a duplicate item in a letter. It took a few tries, but I managed to get Lolly to have 2 kitchen sinks in her house at once, when I was trying to make her house original again. I also once had Chief with THREE of the same guitar in his house lmao. Both of their houses are finally original again I believe.

Yeah, Ankha had no issues with me sending her two pyramids. Weird.
