HELP!!!

My town is stuck in jan 2014 due to a TT error. i have 2 options here.
I could TT to now and may lose one of the villagers i like.
Or i could reset and try to get 1 to move to get me to 8 villagers.

What should i do?

Its not a problem if: A villager pings you about moving out and you decline it and time travel a year without losing anybody!
