Help with my town name ideas!

I'm starting a new save on New Leaf and am struggling to decide on a town name due to the 8 character limit in NL. I'm trying to create something rustic and slightly mystical that also highlights the town is next to the sea. So far my ideas are:

Dewbrook
Petaldew
Petalgem
Dewdale
Mossvale
Mossdale
Mosshore
Mosswood
Morcreek
Fenshire
Ashwood
Wendale
Mistwood
Mistide
Gemshore
Gemtide
Gembrook
Pineside
Pinesand
Sandacre
Everwood

Do you guys like any of these in particular?

These are pretty names. My favourite of the ones listed would be, in order:

1. Dewbrook
2. Fenshire
3. Sandacre
4. Wendale

Honourable mentions to Mossvale, Ashwood, and Mistide. My town name is also a sea-based name, but it's way less creative than these - An Mhuir (it's literally just "the sea" in a different language lmao).

Just a question, which of the names listed would you be least likely to choose? Just to cut the list down slightly for yourself

Thanks, having thought about it a bit more I'd say the below are what I'd be most likely to pick and everything else least likely:

Dewbrook
Mistwood
Mistide
Pineside
Fenshire
Mossvale
Gembrook
Wendale
Mossvale
Mosswood
Ashwood

Perhaps out of those Mistide or Dewbrook are at the top as, not to blow my own trumpet, I think Mistide is a pretty neat play on words.

If you like Mistide go for it! Just because others like Dewbrook more doesn't mean you have to pick it. (I think all the ones you shared are great!)
