Hello there!

I want to make my town a "Forest" themed town. For example, having a lot of cedar trees and holly / olive bushes around, clovers, black and orange flowers, ect.. Since I'm new to the game, I have no clue how to make it look good. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to make paths, (without the qr code, like paths with the plants) or just any tips at all, and if anyone had any extra saplings or anything (I would be willing to pay bells).
Thank you!! :D

I don't know if it's important but my FC is 1091-7927-5050

i've been working on a similar idea for my town lately too! if i could give any tips on how to make it turn out looking nice, i would firstly recommend that you stay FAR away from symmetry! symmetry is more common in towns that have a modern theme, and also because forests are natural, so things will grow spontaneously!

another tip i could give is to not be afraid of trial and error. if its hard to imagine a placement of trees/bushes/pwps then just do it, and if it ended up turning out a little rubbish, then just scrap it and start again! it's your town and you have endless time to make it perfect c:

here are some screenshots that may inspire you for your paths: a b c

i dont have any starts / trees to spare at the moment but countless bells! if you need any financial help with your landscaping just drop me a PM c:

have fun!!

This really helped a lot. The screenshots helped too. I'm glad you mentioned the symmetry because I was curious about weather or not I should have done it.

Thank you so much!! :D

Some people make paths out of the clovers. It looks pretty neat, especially in a forest town. Anyway, of course any zen PWP's that look foresty are a must and maybe some bamboo if you like, maybe not a lot though or it'll look like a zen town. :P (Although it's pretty much the same thing)

As the first commenter said, don't worry about everything being perfectly aligned or extremely organized. Forests are natural (:
