Help with Cycling special Nintendo villagers...

I forced W.Link in boxes at the campground and I tried to test to have someone pick him up and it didn't work I wanna know if anyone has tired to cycle these villagers or void them to get the amiibo Villagers trade able. I would love to powersaves them for thoes who don't have these amiibos any information on this will help a lot
