Help! Which Villagers?

So I worked out which personalitys I need for my town to get the right PWPs and put together a list of the villagers I like in each personality, but I'm not sure which 10 to pick!
I need to at least ONE in each personality listed, can anyone give me opinions to help me out a lil?

Lazy - Beau, Biskit, Erik, Lucky
Normal* - Coco, Maple, Tia, Melba
Jock* - *Genji*
Cranky* - Kabuki, Fang

Well Beau and Erik are both wonderful lazy villagers but I do have a slight preference to Erik (seeing as he's in my town and he's adorable) plus he's a moose and has such a cute house! A little cabin themed room
His has such big beautiful eyes too....
Out of your cranky choices I'd go with Fang. If I didn't love Chief so much I might have pushed a bit harder to get him in my town. He's a beautiful wolf from what I've seen in dream towns and seems to fit his personality well

Is marshal your only option for a smug?

And yeah I like Erik a lot, so I think I'll go for him too, and Fang is adorable and I really want a wolf in my town. So he will also be the other addition

For your lazy villager, I think either one of the dog villagers would work. Both are incredibly adorable, although I have more of a preference for Biskit myself. Your normal villager should be Melba. It's a very unique choice compared to the other three villagers. And as for your cranky, I think Fang would be a pretty great choice. You don't seem to have a wolf villager yet, so it would be nice to balance out the animal species in your town. Not to mention that Fang is pretty cute for a cranky, haha.

I'm gonna be honest and say you should try out a different smug villager. Not because I think Marshal is bad, far from it. But it'll make your town a lot more unique and interesting if you tried something different. Or alternatively, you should try a villager that is not cute. I know that ugly things aren't for everybody, but you would be surprised by how fun they are to the point where the design doesn't bothers you anymore. But then again, I'm pretty much biased. Most of my favourite villagers are considered ugly by many people, haha.

I really like Coco as a normal villagers (from the ones you have listed) Some other moral villagers I really like include Cookie, Apple, Flurry, Gayle, to name a few ^.^ They all just have such adorable appearances <3 Erik is my number one dreamie of all time, and it's great because lazy is my favorite personality for ACNL villagers. As far as other smug villagers go I would suggest maybe O'Hare, Kidd, Eugene, Zell, or Phil. Some of them seem to be a little less popular, but I mean come on, Eugene has sunglasses on! xD If you still anted to explore more on cranky villagers, I really like Roscoe, Walt, and Apollo.. More of my favorites for that personality ^.^

You're missing a peppy villager. I love Tabby, although a lot of people think she's ugly. I also really like Bluebear, Peanut and Wendy.

Going along with what Belle of Pripyat said about missing peppy villagers, I think Penelope is a very under-appreciated peppy. She's a cute little mouse with a pink bow!! But I also like Felicity and Peanut as well.

Does * next to a personality mean that all the villagers you listed for that personality are dreamies for you and a personality without a * mean that none of them are your dreamies?

Lucky goes well with Ankha, in my opinion. If you don't want to pick Lucky, Beau matches your other villagers better than Biskit or Erik.

Kabuki and Marshal would fit in better with the rest of your list.

Coco or Maple would look nice as your second Normal.

If you want to repeat the cranky personality, you could get both Fang and Kabuki. If you don't mind having 3 villagers with the same personality, you could have two more Normals other than Melba instead of just 1.

For Lazy villagers, Erik and Beau are perfect. I used to think Beau was overrated and preferred Erik way more, but now it's a tie for them. Both Beau and Erik have nice houses too. Beau has a forest themed and Erik has a cabin themed.
