Im a bit confused about plot resetting. When someones plot is in a bad spot then u do the trick to put them in a good spot then save, how do u get all of the villages nice and neat next to each other. Do u delete that person u made to do the trick then make another one? If so, how do u delete that new character?

To get them all nice and neat next to each other just requires a LOT of patience and properly pwp-locking your town to narrow down undesired plot placements.
Yes you delete the character once you're done plot resetting. When you load up said character and go to the loading screen with Isabelle, instead of clicking the option to load your town, go for the second option and click "Demolish my home"
