Buying Help me get fortune shop.

I need 17 people to come to my town and have their fortunes read. Then I'll be the last one. I can pay in game bells or give you some perfect pears. This has to be done today. I'll be up late also I have the night owl ordinance so Katrina will be too.

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. I believe that it will only count if you have villagers from your town get their fortunes read. source

Dammit. There's no easy way except to make more characters. I'll just do it the old fashioned way.
