Help me! Blue roses

Okay so I have tried the hybrid red rose method (orange x white = red, breed two of these) and have gotten no blue roses. I have been trying since I got the game at release, I want to do it myself, not buy them. >:

I looked at some threads here and people were saying there' no such thing as hybrid red roses anyway and that blues come from purple and black.

Is this true? Is there an actual way to get blue roses yet? D:

i would like to know this answer as well! I do have a hybrid red but i only have one and it hasn't spawn a blue rose yet. Which is method is true and which is false?

I tried for MONTHS to grow just one blue rose and was never successful. Same for my friend. Kit was nice enough to trade away their blue roses and I was finally able to get some so I shared with my friend, lol.

WHERE DO BLUE ROSES COME FROM? NO ONE KNOWS.

I was successful. You NEED to make sure it is a hybrid red. I grew mine on the beach to make sure no villagers messed with my blue rose attempts. The fence PWP also works very well. I grew one from scratch in about 2 weeks!

Two white rose=purple
Two red rose=black
Purple and black = blue rose

This man knows what he's talking about. I remember I tried as well and found out the actual process was rather difficult.

I have regrown my hybrid red roses three times now from orange and white roses, and they're next to Jacob's Ladders and Fertilizers, but still nothing. I might try the black and purple method, though. :I

I hybrided red roses on the little island. I tried and I tried and I never ever got blue roses. I finally gave up and got them from a friend. The good thing is that blue roses hybrid like crazy. I think I might try the purple and black method too.

I tried for months, but the hybrid red roses are where I got mine from, finally. I had every combo rumored to work set up on my beach, but the hybrid reds are the ones that finally produced

I couldn't deal with how stressful they were to start, so I just bought 2 of them from someone on here and bred those
