HELP: Got an incentive to catch a Tarantula Found NOTHING

Before you question, my town is in August

I have been looking for a Tarantula for days now. And now I got an incentive to get one, thinking maybe itll actually spawn one for me since you know its asking me to find one.

I spent 5 hours looking for one, walking around at midnight, going in and out of my house to refresh spawn rates and NOTHING.

I only need 3 more bugs to complete my encyclopedia and Im at the end of my rope. I dont know what else I can do. I can find scorpions but haven't seen one Tarantula

They're best found in July, you'll have better luck. I've gotten all of mine right around midnight, you just have to keep chasing off all of the other bugs so the rotation will eventually include it. It's very rare, so try not to get too frustrated.

For me, June at about 2-3 A.M. has been the best time to find them. There are the least other bugs that spawn at that time.

Maybe you have too much stuff on the ground and not enough empty space? I've heard that can be a problem.
