Green Star Fragment
Today there was a thought bubble above Cyrano’s head. I went up to him to talk, thinking he couldn’t POSSIBLY be moving out yet.

Boy, was I wrong.

Now, I know the thought bubbles can mean villagers are contemplating moving out. I was planning on asking Cyrano to stay when he asked, because I paid a lot for him and I like him.

He has been here for THREE days.

I know that when your town population increases, villagers will more likely want to move out. He is one out of the five villagers I’ve moved in over the last couple days, but could he want to leave this soon? Am I just too emotionally attached? Come on, THREE DAYS?!

I don't get what the problem here is, if he's new you must have low friendship so maybe rng picked him.

if you told him to stay shouldn't it be okay? Get to know him better, rack up them friendship points or something

This is probably the reason, since the villager I have the highest friendship with never asked to leave once after time traveling back and forth between days.

@FRANS_PLAYER My advice: Don't finish the conversation, just close your game, and don't talk to him until the next day, when the thought bubble will shift to another villager.

I had the same happen with Sprinkle! She was the newest move-in, and wanted to leave already after like three days or so. Luckily, you can say 'no' in this game ;)

It can happen. I found Jay on a mystery island and I swear it was less than a week and he asked to move.

At least they can't move out until you tell them yes though, that is an absolutely beautiful addition to the series by Nintendo. No one will leave unless you tell them to. Unfortunately for those trying to move out the villagers they do not like though, it seems to be a bit more tedious these days.

YAS ANOTHER CYRANO FAN. I found him on an island and it was love at first site of those eyebrows and that tail floof.

I gave him the workshirt and a fedora and when he walks around with his brown paper bag he looks like he's going to work. ❤❤❤❤❤
He was eyeing up an astro girl dress at the Able Sisters the other day. He seemed really into it so I was like "let boys be feminine" and I bought it for him 😌 i will gift it to him when my friendship level has progressed enough. he really out here breaking gender rules

Were they your campsite villagers?

My campsite villager asked to move after 2/4 days too, and I think it might be because since they're forced on you, the game still wants you to have the option to not have the villager if you really don't like them.

Sometimes they do be hurtin us like this... but seriously I always feel like my favorite villagers are asking to move out and it just makes me go 'what the heck?' everytime lol

I had Wolfgang wanting to move a mere 1 day after he got out of moving boxes, and I’m like “you’re not going anywhere yet, old man”
