[Help] Camper reset trick and no campers!

I've been doing the camper reset trick and I've reset about 15 times with no campers at all.
I TT'd to 5:56 a.m. with my mayor, saved and quit, and waited until after 6 to start a new character.
Am I doing something wrong or just being extremely unlucky?

Maybe try with the internal 3ds clock. I never do the trick to go to 5:59 and then make a new character.

I did it when I was resetting for my smug and uchi and it worked fine though. :/

Sounds like you're just unlucky. For whatever reason, some dates have a higher percentage of campers than others. When I cycled, I used to look for a week that had a higher camper rate than others and just stayed there. You might have better luck on another day.

I TT'd to the next day and it's still the same. I think I'll just give up - if it takes this long to get anyone to show up it would probably take eternity getting anyone I want in. :/
