I don't quite understand how you sell villagers pls answer me if you know what the answer is.
Help and I know I'm not selling,buying,or giving away villagers

When a villager is packed & ready to leave, someone comes over to your town & talks to them. The villager will ask if the person knows a town they could move to, & the person tells them to come to their town. Giving away villagers is just that: the person comes, & takes the villager for free. But if you're selling your villagers, people come in, drop the bells or items at the gate & then talk to the villager. Most people post a thread when their villagers are boxed up & people offer bells or items for the villager. Highest bid wins.
