Hello there

Welcome to the forums! I hope you've been enjoying AC:NH so far. 🎉

I'd say the two things I think are the most useful (off the top of my head, at least) to buy with Nook miles are the Pocket Organisation Guide (5000 Nook miles) which doubles your "Pocket" inventory, and I can't remember the name of it, but it's for 800 Nook miles, and it gives you a tool ring, so you can more easily access your tools without going to your inventory. Very helpful to make things less tedious!

How far have you gotten in the game? How many villagers do you have currently? 😊

I’m on day 3. I have two visitors and blathers (?) is coming tomorrow?

Still very early days then! Is there anything in-game that you need to help get you going? I know that I found the first few days a bit tedious, since I was new to the series and didn't know how things worked. 😅 If you have Nintendo Switch Online and need anything, I'd be happy to try and help 😊

Welcome to the forums!

It's really up to you what you want to use your nook miles on. I would say save and use them to get the normal tool diys. A lot of the stuff on the mile program is cosmetic, but you're going to be breaking tools a lot so you're going to want to get ones that will have a bit more durability to save yourself from having to grind flimsy tools.

Other things like more pocket space and the tool ring are great time savers, but the good tool set diy will save your from trapping yourself early in game from breaking all your tools and not having anything to gather more resources on a given day.

Hello and welcome! I hope you enjoy playing the game!

I definitely second saving up your miles for the tool ring and any DIY recipes for tools and such. The extra pocket space feels like a necessity too, although its pretty pricey in nook miles its totally worth saving up for. Also toss any excess wood stones and basic materials you have into your storage since you’ll definitely be needing them to craft tools and stuff! And if you see any bugs, catch em! It’ll make filling up your critterpedia and museum exhibits much easier! (I know it sounds like common knowledge but maybe its because I overlook most of these things now after playing for so long lol)

Most importantly, have fun and play at your own pace! Enjoy decorating your island and finding cute villagers to fill your homes! 🥰
