Hello! Spirited Away themed town here. <3

Hello people! I am new to this forum but not so very new to ACNL. I have been working on my Spirited Away themed town for months now. I'm happy to come on here and share with you all. I love this game so much. I am on public transportation many hours a week for my job, and this game has really been helping me relax. <3

I am not posting my dream code yet, because my town is very messy! I am trying to get all my villagers in place, then I can put down all my patterns, then I can arrange all my landscaping, then I can work on my buildings...you get the picture.

In the meantime, I am working on my custom designs like paths and outfits. I am posting all of that on my tumblr under the same username (aburayacrossing).

Anyone else have themed towns?

Also, I haven't been playing all that long, and I am VERY excited to see my first spring! SO sick of all that snow!!

Oh thank you Crash! I am not the first person to have this theme, but I didn't know that until after I chose it. I am glad at least a couple others have done it because it means I can use some clothing like the shirt in the screenshot.

I am trying to get my last two villagers moved in ASAP so I can get my town in shape for dreamies! <3 <3

Thank you Taesaek! I really wish I could invite people over, but right now my "bathhouse" is actually, like, Gracie Outfit Storage Depot, lol!! Mostly, though I gotta get my last two villagers in line (literally). I have set myself an extra challenge for this game and am not TTing at all. So my progress with some things is slow but satisfying.

I will make sure to post a showing off thread here on the forum as soon as my town is ready. In the meantime, you can follow me on tumblr if that's your thing. <3

Thank you, I am enjoying it already! I have two good friends that play as well, one of them let me get my hair done on my first day of playing, long before shampoodle opened.

Yes, I am trying to do the very best job I can! Last night I spent a few hours blending pixels for the tiles I am making to transition the Nook cobblestone around train station/retail/town hall to my paths. I am aaaaalmost done with that, so I will probably post the codes to my tumblr in a week or two. I want to share the design grid too, once I work out how to take a screenshot of the bottom screen. That way other people can use my designs to blend with their own paths.

Thank you, yes! I love that movie so much, and other Studio Ghibli ones too! It is very fun to play brave Chihiro, running around town with my arms in the air doing errands for villagers.

Do you all want to see a Spirited Away town while you are waiting? I am using some of the same designs as this place: 1400-0983-3534

I am borrowing a few ideas from this town, but many things are different too. One difference is I have Zeniba's house. In my vision cruel Yubaba has moved on and Lin is in charge of the bathhouse. Animal Crossing is just too sweet to have a villain in town IMO. I will also have a mini quest to find Chihiro's parents! Oh, I just can't wait to show you all.
