i've been visiting the bell tree forums every now and then when i had questions about acnl. now that i'm playing more regularly, i decided to make an account and get to know everyone and involve myself more! also i really, really love your emoticons...

i also have a question if that's ok: when someone offers to pay something with "x TBT," what does that mean? do you guys have your own currency?

and another: does everyone use the same website to make their signatures with villager pixel art? it looks really cute!

Hello and welcome to The Bell Tree! Bells (often called TBT to differentiate from in-game bells) are the site currency. They are used to purchase things like user upgrades or collectibles which appear on your profile. You can gain bells by posting or by trading things with other users.

Welcome to the forums! TBT is the currency here. You tend to earn it from making posts on almost anything except the Basement, which is for a lot of repetitive garble.

If you mean the kind of signature that I have, (which most people have), a fellow forum member known as Arianne made them! They do it for TBT usually and does them extremely well. While I'm not sure where they get most of their assets from, I'm sure you can ask and they'd be happy to tell you.
