Hey folks! Figured I'd join up here because after playing Animal Crossing by myself for ages, I've decided I wanna try meeting some other people to play online with, try trading with other players, stuff like that. c: I did read the stickies in the train station board, but any general tips for playing online for the first time would be awesome!

As for an introduction, my name's Van, I'm 26 and non-binary and a big silly nerd, I like anime and rock music and the principle of entropy, and I overuse the and emoji. Nice to meet you all!

I'll do my best, hehe. I just worry since I'm used to playing alone and I don't know what expectations others have of how their towns should be treated--e.g., I was really surprised when I saw someone mention that you should ask if it's okay before talking to someone's villagers, since I never imagined that could be a problem.
