I think I'm going to have to let Cookie go because I let her plot somewhere I thought would work but no one has really tried to plot near her since. So now she's off by herself as shown in the pic below:

She's soooooo cute but I think it'll be for the good of the town.

What's the saddest goodbye you've had to make?

Not counting all the accidents. I had to let Pekoe go because she was in front of a bridge. I just could not stand it for long at all. So when she pinged i was happy to let her move , but still a little sad.

She's not so much a dreamie as just a villager I really like, but I've been considering letting Alli go because she's all alone in a corner. Though I have considered plot resetting for my next villager so they live close to her. I'm not sure though.

I would never move anyone out due to a location issue, but the saddest accidental move-outs were Merry in the very first AC game and Stitches in NL.

I had a similar issue with Genji. I moved him out, but I'm doing the sixteen villager cycle to get him back. The saddest goodbye has to be letting Kyle leave Bespin. A voided villager moved in as my tenth, which means they won't ask to move, so I didn't really have a choice. Worst, the person who gave the voided villager was completely unapologetic.

Edit: I also have to add Molly moving out suddenly while I was trying to get Genji out. Her house just vanished. Now I'm cycling to get them both back.

Olivia I think was my worst case scenerio; she was my first cat villager she had become a favorite too
I was busy with the crazy ride of life so I hadn't even played animal crossing in a few months at this point; played in June 2014 on my main town of which I don't TT at all
Isabelle didnt say a single thing about anyone in boxes... was talking to my villagers noticed Olivia was home
soon as I went in I saw the boxes- I had a brief game rage (I saved and quit then didnt really play my game for a few weeks) x'D

though since a few of you have mentioned plot placement.. she hasnt even pinged me yet but I'll be saying goodbye to Tiffany at some point... she's that house on the top right (map in sig) no one has moved anywhere near her and she's just been all alone, and I think she needs a better home D:

Your villagers' spots look really nice. Honestly, I don't have the patience to plot reset, so villagers appear where they want to. Sometimes that's good, sometimes it's bad.

I wouldn't let a dreamie go just because they appeared in a bad spot. It's hard enough to get a dreamie as it is sometimes.

That's okey, maybe after awhile she will come back again x]] I haven't let go any of my villagers yet even if they wanted to move awayyy, just felt like it was such a hassle xD

I know essentially this was my fault, but I decided I wanted to try and Cycle for some art of my OCs and good grief I ended up losing 4-5 villagers I cherished, although I realize it was definitely my fault for Cycling at all I think I cried lol and freaked out horribly as I lost my precious villagers; on top of losing my top two, Rosie and Bam xD In the end I kind of gave up on trying to Cycle ever again to get them back, sort of a learned lesson on being more careful and MUCH MORE patient : O It definitely feels awful when you lose someone you cherish in your town no matter who it is and for what reason Dx

One of my worries is that when I finally get a dreamie, they'll move into a bad place. I have never tried to plot reset and I'm not interested in doing so. But if it happens, I'll make do - like I do with everyone else. I refuse to give up someone I love just because they moved into a bad place.

Anyway, I don't think Cookie is in a bad place. She's not completely alone over there, anyway.

A voided villager who moves into your town will still ask you to move after a while. I had that with Iggly who moved into my town from someone else's void.

I've never moved a villager out due to plot issue. Though I have had villagers plot right in front of bridges which irritated me.

I just feel bad because she's always walking around on that side by herself while my other villagers interact with each other all the time. I probably won't give her up. I'll just see if I can move another villager over there before getting frustrated with plot resetting and sticking with the first decent spot I find.

It's less that the villager was voided and more that they were my tenth. In my experience, the most recent villager will never ask to move out. So I had to move someone else out.

I personally wouldn't do that, only time location would factor in for me if it stops me getting a bridge or if they really just are in an awkward area like directly in front of a building that would not work irl. Also Cookie really is adorable.

I had Marshal when I first made my town (in March), but he plotted right in front of my mayor's house. I wasn't that bothered by it at first, but as time went by and when I began landscaping it really started to bother me so I let him go a few weeks ago. I'm currently cycling back for him! Hopefully I don't lose any of my other dreamies in the process xD

Melba. I love her so much but she's the only villager by herself in my isolated part of town where I only wanted my mayor's house and a lot of forest. She's a starter so I had no control over where she plotted. Since I got a replacement normal from the campsite she'll be the next to go ;__; I don't want to let her go because she reminds me of my dog lol.
