Haven't had a campsite visitor in WEEKS

I haven't had a villager visit my campsite since probably the 3rd day after my campsite was built, 2+ weeks ago. It feels like I'm missing something here?

I believe a lot of people have been reporting that the campsite visitor rate seems to be much lower than it was in new leaf. You'll rarely get someone visiting on their own. I'm wondering if the campsite is more for using the amiibo cards this time

Oh I see... I wish I could just demolish it and use that space lol. Amiibo cards are always sold out so it's been totally useless for me so far. Wish they had just combined the campsite and island into one feature somehow.

I have gotten one person a week since its construction so it may be rare or a weekly occurrence similar to special visitors.

It seems to really be luck/RNG. I got three campers in my first week after it was built, then none for three weeks, and then I finally got a camper the day before yesterday.

I wish they'd reliably have campers come multiple times a week!

I really hope it isn't tied to amiibos. We already paid enough for the game, we shouldn't have to spend more money to buy the cards just to get a camper.

I'm with you guys though. I've only had two so far and they were both quite some time ago.

I've never had a campsite visitor other than the mandatory first one and amiibos (which I've only done a few times). It seems rarer than NL, and even NL felt too rare for my tastes.

i TT a lot, often going day by day, and don’t get many villagers in my campsite at all. campsite visitors seem way too rare in NH and i don’t like it tbh especially since they force you to build one this time around and it can’t be demolished later?? you’d think for a mandatory building it’d get more use. also if they’re having it be mostly meant for amiibos in this game then i wish they would at least reprint the amiibo cards lol, i have a lot but i’m missing some for villagers i really want and some people don’t have any!

For a game that was pushed back 5 months to be "the best it can be" I'm finding myself disappointed sometimes, especially in things like this. At least there will be patches and updates in the future *crosses fingers*.

i have gotten two, ever. first the obligatory camper and then just the other day again. in between those i didn't have a single visitor...

No villagers had visited my campsite since my mandatory camper moved in until today when I moved my campsite to a different,more remote location(Phoebe was my camper).I'm not really sure if the campsite's location has anything to do with how often campers visit but when I talked to Tom Nook about moving the campsite he said something like "Let's hope we get more visitors at the new location".It might be nothing but maybe there's a chance that moving your campsite will get more campers to visit.

I only got the one from the beginning when we automatically got one to continue the game, but I haven't since. The only ones were the amiibos I put in there, maybe if you use an amiibo it restarts the time it takes to get a new villager to makes them all spaced out? Just throwing out theories I doubt that's a thing

I've had one after the first mandatory camper. It is totally partially RNG, but the campsite exists for amiibo, 100%.

I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but I just put down my 10th plot yesterday, and I got my first non-forced/amiibo Camper today. (It was Ava.)
