Have you ever gotten rid of a long time permanent second character?

Ok so I used to always have a secondary character in town, and my last couple of new towns I only have one and it is just so much easier..as I actually played through the whole day twice every time with my secondary always opposite gender did all the tasks double did festivals..I feel like though they have been there forever in town it's just too much work have you ever deleted your secondary character you've had for a long time finding it easier especially with more than one town to just have one character..I find I can do what needs done without them. the secondary has just become a chore now..

Why don't you just keep them for storage and a pattern mule? I have a secondary character that I very rarely play - only when I'm bored with the day to keep things fresh. Because my 2nd doesn't have a full insect or fish catalogue it just keeps me interested for that day. I usually play it once a week or so.

Yep, I have.. but now I only just keep them as pattern mules.

I don't pattern and his house took on it's totally own thing..so it's cramped too but not even with stuff I like mostly I do the girly stuff and that house does the rustic harmonious ect...I could dump his inventory to make sure my hard tier has it all and have more storage but I am thinking especially after you get Gracie and now that I'm not such a hoarder of reorderables lol to dump him...except his dlc or rare if has any..or only have a secondary kept in one town that is the least far along..I feel like the villagers would be like where is our friend..not that I should care about that..I'm more worried with how they are going to react when I speed up time a lot to catch up to IRL I may do it bit by bit I do like them not all in the same season but years is different...still trying to figure that one out but that's a different story. I suppose I don't have to play him all the time but I've never not had one and it's so much easier not to do it all two times, lol. At least it's not like in CF where the villagers asked to give a message to number two or three..
