I wanted to finish the bunny day event cause I couldn’t play it at the time it came out.
But now that I’ve finished you can bet that I am going to get my island ready now till the 30 to have Halloween items everywhere haha
All I have prepared so far is getting costumes, but now since there may be new costumes, I'll have to look for those. I may craft some new decorates just for the plaza area for the month. We'll see if I get inspired by anything else.
I don't see myself redesigning my entire island to have a Halloween theme. (The same way goes to decorating my house.) That's just too much work! I may put something in the entrance though.
Not a fan of Halloween really! I am more a fan of autumn decor than Halloween - but I'm still not decorating my island seasonally. I let the game take care of itself for that one

My town has been unthemed for the bulk of this game. It ended up becoming full of hybrids and incredibly colorful- BUT NO LONGER! Utopia is going to become Halloweentown! Oh yes, we are getting the orange and black flowers out and planting them all over town. We are putting up scarecrows and laying down spooky paths. Residents are gonna have spider door plates and scary costumes. Just you WAIT. And this revamp? Probably permanent. Oh yeah, I'm really serious about my Halloween celebration.
A little bit! Relocated my hybrid garden today to make room for a pumpkin patch. I didn't play for maybe mid-August to mid-September, so I'm catching up and transitioning to more fall-y things generally. Camping or cottagey vibes instead of tropical.
I'm not the biggest halloween fan but when the new update comes out I'll likely redecorate my island a bit. I definitely won't go all out, but I'll have some scattered halloween decorations around for fun.

i will, once the update comes out i will grow so many pumpkins. i haven't played much in september (read: at all) but i want to get back into the game and i think halloween will be fun
I dislike halloween in general (long story and personal trauma) but I changed one of my areas to be a farm, and I'm actually super excited to get more clothes, more eye colors, grow pumpkins... I just wish Brewster was also in the update.
I’m not a huge Halloween fan, so I’ll be skipping out on decorating my island with pumpkins and what not, haha. I’m more excited for the Harvest Festival and Christmas updates! You can bet your sweet petunia I’ll be planting some of them good, good veggies on my island.
I've not as of yet decorated my island for Halloween, but I am quite interested in doing so if there are enough cool items to work with. I'll probably begin figuring things out once the update releases. The most I'm sure of right now is that I'm going to shuffle a few things around to make room for a fairly well sized field for crops, if we're able to choose the size of the field anyway.
I have a particular idea that has been rolling around in my head over the past few days in terms of decorating that I'll hopefully be able to make happen, regardless of how good the Halloween items themselves are and how many there are. I did like what I saw in the video though, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to make a nice scene with plenty of pumpkin items too.
I haven't decorated my island for Halloween, nor will I be. I haven't decorated my island around certain times/events, since I'd rather keep it the same year-round, and Halloween is no exception to that.
I got my pumpkin patch built and I've got a few candy "bowls" (custom hat designs that look like candy bowls) on tables. The hats will likely be replaced by the the trick or treat item seen in the trailer. I've also been trying to plan out where I'm going to decorate and with what items, but I'll have a better idea of what I want to do once the update comes out. Definitely eyeing that new pumpkin fence, though!
I've also been having ideas to add another house and turn it into a haunted mansion.
I've changed my town tune & flag but haven't fully started decorating yet! I'll likely decorate more once the update comes out. Since I don't currently have a Nintendo Online membership I can't access special Halloween paths like what I do for my New Leaf town which is a bit of a bummer but oh well. I'm excited to see all the new Halloween additions in the update!
I don't think I'll be fully decorating my island for Halloween, since the spooky orange/black theme doesn't work for my island. though I will be incorporating items like mush lamps, parasols, leaf piles etc to get that autumn vibe cx
