Have any non-TTers upgraded their Nook's Cranny yet?

I've looked at a very hefty amount of guides and they all say the same thing:

- 29-30 days played
- 50-70k bells spent
- 50-70k bells in sold items
- 30 bugs, fish and fossils in museum

I have got all those things and more, since I've been buying everything in there every day. what the hell man I just want my gotdamn nook's cranny.
so I just wanted to see if anybody who hasn't tt'd yet has it, and if you have tt'd and you have it, what do you think you did to get it?
I know there's been quite a few nook's cranny upgrade posts over the past month but I just really wanna know if I'm lagging behind or if we're all experiencing this ish

my sister has it but also time travels and it is so cool i shop there everyday
i think anyone who hasn't time travelled, like me and my brother, should get it by the 23rd or 24th of april

I haven't gotten it yet. My friend eagerly awaits every day at 5 am to see if he gets that upgrade

It is not 30 days played, your nook shop has to be open for 30 days and you need to have spent 200k. I have this from the official guide.

Isabelle just announced that my Nook's will be upgrading in 2 days (in construction tomorrow, opens the day after). I got my game early though (19th March) and managed to get all the materials to build the Nook's Cranny in a day so you'll probably have to wait just 1-2 more days.

No. I should be all set for when it does eventually happen. I've heard there seems to be a certain degree of randomness to it, so I'm not in a huge hurry. I expect it should happen either this week, or early next week.


I'm almost kind of dreading it because I like the look of the current Nook's Cranny in the location I currently have it.

just to add to this, i did tt forward one day in the beginning to get my museum built, but then tt'd back.. not sure if that effects it!

I started my game the 19th and built the shop the day I was told to. My nooks is under construction today and will be done tomorrow. Technically it should be a day behind because i TT'd one day forward trying to try to get the picnic diy from isabelle during bunny week (didnt work) and then I immediately TT'd back :O it looks like a lot of us are gonna have access to the shop fairly soon!

I don’t have my shop upgraded yet you have to remember yes it’s been 30 days but you didn’t get your shop on day one I heard you need 30 days 200k bells spent and sold to be upgraded

Mine is being upgraded tomorrow. Isabelle and the Nooklings both mentioned it when I played this morning.

Mine is being upgraded on Earth Day. Just in time for the big update. This is because I got extremely lucky on getting the game 1 day before it came out, which was the 19th. And I wouldn't have started on the 19th if I didn't get both Mira and Sprocket as my starters. But thankfully I did on that exact date.

Just wanted to emphasize that is 30 days from nook's cranny was build + 200k sell/buy combined so in next few days it should build for most and yes tt days do count towards the total.

I'm thinking mine should start upgrading tomorrow, because from my screenshots, I opened Nook's Cranny on March 22nd. Super excited

I got the game on the 19th (due to the virus and the store was approved by nintendo to do it)

I have done every single upgrade as quickly as it could (minus the house, it was 2 days behind)... and ables was behind cuz she asked 3rd visit and I've heard people getting 2nd visit. Urgh.
Today they announced they will be under construction tomorrow.

It’s kinda a mixed feeling cos at the same time you want a bigger shop but then you have no shop for the whole day and you could potentially miss out on a good turnip price

Saaaaaaame.
This week for the first time I bought over 100k worth (like 400k worth.) Now I'm worried I'll have to sell on someone else's island. =/
