Has anyone naturally unlocked the Nook's Cranny upgrade?

Without Time Travel, has anyone naturally unlocked the upgrade to Nook's Cranny yet? I'm still waiting to see if anyone knows any accurate requirements for it, but there's still so little information!

I believe it takes 30 days? I'm not sure I just heard that somewhere and probably with an amount of bells too
