Has anyone every watched Elfien Lied?

I heard it's a really sad and murderous anime. Can someone give me a review?

I've never watched it, myself, but a close friend of mine has. She described pretty much the whole series to me over the phone, and from what I've heard it has a ton of gore and some pretty screwed up ways of people dying. And lots of dying.

She says it's amazing, though, and I've heard a few people saying the same. I'll likely never watch it, though, since I don't care much for gory stuff. XP So, if gore and violence don't bother you, then you may want to check it out. ^^

She must mean the Tyeforce in an alternate universe who posted here. Zetaboards has a bad SQL in their threads that occasionally causes cross-universal results.

Yeah, there is also a lot of nudity in it. You could probably compare this series to Gantz, but it sounds even more gory and sounds like it has more nudity. XD
