Has anyone ever done this since they've had ACNL??

I'm like seriously so torn up, I broke my 3DS about 2 hours ago. I dropped it...it turns on fine, seems fine on the home screen (except my downloaded games aren't showing up..) but when I try to open anything, NOTHING HAPPENS. I don't know what to do. Nintendo said they can fix it but there's no guarantee that all my save data will still be there. I will seriously be so pissed if I have to restart my town...

SO, has anyone had to get their 3DS fixed since they got ACNL? If so, did your save data get saved or did you have to restart?

Hm. If your downloaded games don't show up, then that seems a little strange. I think your SD card might have a problem.

No, it didn't but that's what people keep saying. I did try and take it out and put it back in anyways, a few times, and same thing.

That's weird. It's the SD card or the socket for it, though. You could try get another SD card then download a backup of your game, I'm not sure though.

I have a physical copy so that wouldn't happen to me.

Do you have an SD card reader? If so, try reading your SD card with it. If it doesn't show up, you have a problem with the SD card. If it does, you may have an internal problem and need to send you 3DS off for repair.

I wouldn't recommend getting a new SD card until you know for sure what the problem is. If you bought the digital version of the game, you should be fine and not have to restart unless the SD card is damaged.

Thanks all. It's gonna be fine, the SD card works and my boyfriend got the system working again getting it replaced anyways though so this doesn't happen to me again!!!
