Out of all of the furniture series, themes, and sets, which one do you think is the hardest or most frustrating to collect?

I would have to say the Snowman Series. Orderable furniture sets are easy to get duplicates since you can re-order them from the catalog. The GracieGrace themes, is easy to get duplicates if you have T&T Emporium, utilize time traveling, and having a lot of Bells. Some holiday sets like the Mush Series and Ice Series, also easy, as long as you time travel or participate more into the activities. But the Snowman Series, I've talked about this several times in the past few years. You have to be perfect to get a snowman series item, it has to be of a certain size, you can only build one snow person a day, and even being extremely close will not count as "perfect". The other snow people are at least not as frustrating.

Next in line would have to be the Sloppy Series. But I don't care about the series, so that didn't matter to me.

I think it would be the gold series...i mean you uave to get 3 gold peices spend 10000 bells
And even then you only get a random piece of the series.

for me it was the sloppy series, & yes also the snowboy, &snowmam
they have to be so precise & it was like a pain in the butt to build them x.x

I'd say the Gold, Sloppy and Cardboard.

Gold because of what Ghostkid said.

Sloppy and Cardboard because of it being rare for a villager to put up one of those sets for sale at Re-Tail.

If there are any others, I can't remember them.

Golden, as Cyrus gives constant duplicates which sucks, as you lose 3 gold nuggets, plus $10k.

The item only sells for $8000.

Snowboy Series took me awhile to figure out how to make a perfect snowboy. Someone posted a tip to save/continue before you add the snowball. Wrong size leave the game without saving and try again. Once I built a few it finally clicked and I was able to complete the series.

Golden set took a long time to complete with all the repeats. Read a post that you can do the reset for the golden set but never tried it.

For me it's the full weeding day set because I have the beautiful town ordinance and am too lazy to turn it off and water my flowers lol

Definitely have to say these ones: Sloppy/Cardboard, Snowman, Golden Furniture, and the Rococo sets are the most difficult.

Honorable mentions I haven't seen yet:
Pav? has a tendency to give out dupes of his furniture set before giving you your complete collection, making Festivale a bit of a hassle for some.
Stuff you can mostly only get on forums these days, like Fueki or 7-Eleven. Same with Sanrio collections, which you have to go online to get if you don't want to shell out the cash for the cards.

But you're gonna get Resetti if you do this. But then again, he only appears if you have the reset center built. But yeah, I really hate how high their expectations are. By not giving me items, they are being ungrateful.

I forgot about how bad the golden set was.

I remembered when stuff like the Stripe Series and Cabin Series were impossible to complete on my own, but it's because of the group mechanic. That is an old and obsolete system. But if you start a new town and you have a completed catalog on your old town, you can re-order the orderable items and catalog them with your new character so you can complete them quite easily.

I'd have to say this. I have an ok time with furniture I can find in the game even if I can't order it, because I know I'll eventually get it, and if I can't find it myself, people are reasonable with trading prices, usually. But it's bad when there's no way to obtain the furniture yourself in the game. With these sets, you either have to trade for it outrageously, or spending so much money, or take a risk of breaking your system and/or having it get banned from online because of hacking, which a lot of people don't ever wanna do.

Filly/7-11, if you want all the new items. Sloppy is pretty easy if you have patience and make sure to empty stuff in Re-Tail/Police, or if you have a villager or two with em.

And yeah flower/fishing/bug... I got lucky and could buy them here but yeah it'd take a few years to get em all lol

I'd say the Sloppy and Weeding Day sets are difficult to come across. I don't think I even have the full sloppy set come to think of it. It doesn't appeal as much so I didn't make it a priority to get.

I'd also say the Sanrio items are hard to come by just because they aren't sold in the US. You have to rely on others to open up their towns so you can visit to order. even the regular amiibo cards are hard to come across these days.

I'd have to say the weeding day set... I screwed up forgot to change ordinances and I TT a lot so that series is lonnnng gone for me. Next would have to be the snow boy series. I got one stupid couch from him this past winter. Then I would say the gold series. Cyrus loves giving me the same darn gold furntiure over and over and over again lol

Pretty sure there are four items you can't get anymore unless you get them from someone who got the dlc back in 2014, or a hacker. Those would be the 7-11 abd, hagoita, fedora chair, and shave ice lamp.
